 Thank you for visiting our website!  My name is Robert Sefrit, and I have had the privilege of serving as the pastor of TUMC and MUPMC since July 2008.  I grew up on a farm near the small northwest Missouri town of Fairfax.  After graduating from Fairfax   R-3, I attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.  One of the highlights of  my college experience was studying for a semester in Hong Kong, China.   After earning a BA in History and Political Science from William Jewell,  I served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Washington, D.C.  After this experience, I entered Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City where I received my Master of Divinity degree.  In 2010, I was ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church.

My wife Carly and I met at William Jewell, and we became best friends throughout our college years.  We married two years after graduation, and we are now the proud parents of Calla Elizabeth and Dietrich Asher Sefrit.  We both feel very blessed to be part of such loving congregations, and we invite you to worship and come along with us on this journey of faith as we strive together to "lead people to an active faith in Jesus Christ."
